Oh sure, it’s only a ‘meaningless Spring Training game,’ but Thursday’s game against the division-rival San Diego Padres at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ will be the first Dodgers game since October 11, 2023, when they were embarrassingly swept out of the National League West Division Series in four games by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

That was exactly 134 days ago, but who was counting, right?

It will also be televised on the Dodgers flagship station SportsNet LA beginning at 12:10 pm PT.

Although it may be a ‘meaningless Spring Training game’ in the grand scheme of things, it means everything to every Dodgers fan on the planet.

It means Baseball is Back!
