Dodgers to Host First Zoom Party en Español on Thursday Evening

The Dodgers will host their inaugural Zoom Party en Español on Thursday evening, May 21, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PT. The Zoom Party will feature current players Kiké Hernández, Julio Urías, Brusdar Graterol and Edwin Ríos, former Dodgers Adrián González and Fernando Valenzuela, as well as broadcasters Jaime Jarrín, Alanna Rizzo, Pepe Yñiguez and Jorge Jarrín.

There is no disputing that Jaime Jarrín is the Vin Scully of Spanish broadcasters. He even has his plaque on the Dodgers ‘Ring of Honor’ next to Vin’s. Jarrín is also a member of the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame and the California Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. He was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1998. (Photo credit – Jon SooHoo)

Fans can register for Thursday’s Dodgers Zoom Party en Español at LosDodgers.com/Zoom.

The Spanish-language event follows four popular English-language Zoom Parties, which have received tune-ins from 33 countries and featured current and former players, broadcasters, and celebrity fans. Last Monday’s Zoom Party presented by 76 was hosted by team broadcasters Joe Davis and Alanna Rizzo and featured current players Clayton Kershaw, Cody Bellinger, Justin Turner, David Price, Alex Wood, and Austin Barnes, as well as manager Dave Roberts and former Dodger Andre Ethier. Comedian Jo Koy also joined the Zoom, which drew 13,000 unique logins. Footage from Monday’s Zoom Party can be downloaded at https://ladodgers.sharefile.com/d-sba00f9d3f5145339.

With the Memorial Day holiday next week, the fifth Dodgers Zoom Party will be held on Tuesday (May 26) at 6:00 p.m. PT, with participants to be announced at a later date.
