The Dodgers have partnered with the offices of Congressmember Jimmy Gomez, California State Senator Kevin de León, California State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo, LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis, Mayor Eric Garcetti, LA City Councilmember Gil Cedillo, and LA City Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell for the turkey giveaway, with each office selecting organizations in its district to benefit. Turkeys and fixings are also being provided to pre-selected students in the Dodgers’ “Community of Schools,” a strategic community partnership to improve the education and wellness of children attending local schools (all Title I) and living in communities surrounding Dodger Stadium.

Beneficiaries of Friday’s program also include participants of Dodgers RBI (LADF’s youth baseball and softball program), local residents from communities surrounding Dodgers Dreamfields and the Bresse Foundation, a non-profit organization supported by LADF.

Always good to see these things. God bless them all.
BTW, I just got a message via At Bat that Kenley is having his heart surgery November 26.
