The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) announced that its fourth annual Blue Diamond Gala will take place on Monday, June 11 at Dodger Stadium and will feature a concert by multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter John Legend.  The evening will kick off with a star-studded blue carpet and pre-show dinner party, followed by two hours of entertainment and post-show food trucks, all to celebrate the impactful work being done year-round by LADF.

Since its inception, LADF has invested over $21 million into the LA community in the form of direct programs and grant making to local organizations, impacting millions of children. Proceeds from the Blue Diamond Gala will support the expansion of its direct programs, Dodgers Dreamfields and Dodger RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities), enabling LADF to reach its goal of building 50 baseball fields in underserved communities and attain its vision of impacting the lives of 10,000 young boys and girls, utilizing the power of sport.

“The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is thrilled that John Legend will be a part of what is sure to be an unforgettable celebration,” said Mark Walter, Dodger owner and chairman of the LADF Board. “By reaching 10,000 youth with our Dodgers RBI program and completing our 50th Dodgers Dreamfield, we are making meaningful progress in providing nurturing and empowering opportunities for the young people in our most overlooked local communities.”

The 2018 Blue Diamond Gala is presented by the Los Angeles Dodgers Ownership Group to include: Mark Walter, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Todd Boehly, Robert “Bobby” Patton Jr. and Peter Guber.
