Braun receives harsh welcome at home ballpark

Admitted PED user Ryan Braun was met with a chorus of loud boos and taunts at the Milwaukee Brewers home spring training facility during Saturday afternoon’s game against the Dodgers.

Now granted, there were a lot of Dodger fans in attendance at the Maryvale Baseball Park, but the booing wasn’t limited to just those wearing Dodger gear.

Braun, who is coming off a 62-game suspension for his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal, tried to act nonchalant as if the boos and comments didn’t bother him, but it’s hard to believe that he was able to tune it completely out. Braun went 1 for 1 with a single to short and a walk in his two at bats before being lifted in the fifth inning.

One has to believe that if Braun received this type of welcome at his home spring training ballpark, it is going to be a very long (and loud) season for the troubled outfielder – especially when the Brewers are on the road and most definitely when the Brewers come to Dodger Stadium in August.

You better get used to it Ryan.

‘Admitted PED user”…Yeah, I suppose. More like ‘Found out twice and couldn’t continue his string of lies and eventually gave up the charade”.
