DodgerTalk airs Monday-Saturday through Spring Training

With the Dodgers falling just short of their first World Series appearance in 25 years, this year’s off-season has been painfully long for die-hard Dodger fans. But with expectations that the 2014 Dodgers will be even better than the 2013 Dodgers team, this off-season seemed even longer. And even though the Dodgers (and Diamondbacks) kick off their respective 2014 seasons a week earlier than the rest of Major League Baseball, it simply cannot get here soon enough for the hardiest of Dodger fans.

Fear not – help has arrived.

It was announced on Monday that the ever-popular DodgerTalk Radio show will be on-the-air every Monday through Saturday evening from 7 to 8 PM on the Dodgers flagship radio station KLAC AM 570 now through the end of spring training.

The show will again feature former MLB manager and MLB Network Radio host Kevin Kennedy along with regular season DodgerTalk co-hosts David Vassegh and Jorge Jarrin.

Initially, Kennedy and Jarrin will broadcast from the KLAC AM 570 studios in Burbank while Vassegh will have ‘boots on the ground’ at Camelback Ranch where he will record sound bites from many of the Dodgers players, coaches and executives for playback during the DodgerTalk radio broadcasts.

But wait – there’s more!

DodgerTalk listeners can now ask questions of Kennedy, Vassegh and Jarrin without having to deal with persistent busy signals over the phone (although this is still an option). Fans can now ask questions of the DodgerTalk trio via Twitter by simply using the hashtag #dodgertalk. Keep in mind that this pre-season edition of DodgerTalk is only an hour long, so not all questions asked on Twitter will be answered on the air.

On evenings that KLAC AM 570 airs UCLA basketball games, DodgerTalk will follow the basketball games even if late in the evening.
