I’ve got some good news and some slightly less-than-good news.
The good news is that the Dodgers farm system is arguably among the very best in the game today, especially their minor league pitching depth.
The slightly less-than-good news is that according to MLB.com, there currently are zero catchers on the Dodgers list of Top-10 prospects, In fact, per that same source, there are zero catchers in their Top-40.

(MLB.com)
Without going too far out on a limb, its’s safe to say that this list can – and will – change in the coming days, perhaps even today (and possibly already has).
Needless to say, the Dodgers are in an excellent position to improve their already stellar active and 40-man rosters via trades and the continuing outstanding work of Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman, who is about to embark on his 11th season with the team and destined for Cooperstown himself.

Freddie Freeman, Friedman (and his predecessor Ned Colletti) built what many are calling
one of the greatest baseball dynasties in the history of the game. (Charlie Riedel – AP)
There is certainly no need to panic, as Friedman (and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts) are blessed with three-time All-Star catcher Will Smith and former top catching prospect Dalton Rushing on their current active roster, so there’s that.
Can you say “Three-peat?”

Outrageous offer by Mets to Tucker. Over 40 million a yr for 3 yrs. Possibly as much as 140 million.

Just sign Bader or go with a Ward/Call platoon to start the season. Bichette, Tucker, and Belli are all going to be overpaid. I would pass.

Dodgers should be much better than last yr. Much better pitching staff.
Diaz alone could improve us 6-10 games. Our closer blew so many games.
We need an outfielder. Plus we gotta give some of the young guys a chance.
Like to see Bader in CF and TEO/Ward in LF and Pages in RF. I think if Teo gets needed rest he could bounce back and be more productive.
I agree 100% on Bader. We dont need belly or Tucker. The only way Tucker makes sense would be if we traded TEO. Then the difference between Tucker and Teo is about 10 mil.
Now Bichette is a different story! He moves to second base. tremendous hitter.
Moves Edman to the outfield.

“If you’re always rational about every free agent, you will finish third on every free agent” –Andrew Friedman
This talk about the current market for Tucker being outrageous. Yes. And? The market sets the price. Is it your money?
