The Astros Are In For a Surprise

There will be a winner and a loser in Tuesday’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros, which, of course, is why they play the game. And though it’s no secret that there is zero love lost between these two franchises due to the sign-stealing scandal that cost the Dodgers a World Series title in 2017, there will be a little extra something in the stands for the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Seated in the stands at Minute Maid Park will be 100 members of the popular Pantone 294 Dodgers traveling fan club. And though they will probably not be permitted to display their huge Dodgers banner due to COVID-19 protocols, you can bet your very last dollar that they will be extremely vocal.

Although their popular LA banner will undoubtedly be banned at Minute Maid Park in Houston, the Pantone 294 have been known to get it into other ballparks where it was banned – like Marlins Park in Miami. (Photo credit – Jon SooHoo)

Do us proud, Pantone294. We are all with you in spirit!
