My prayers are with the loved ones of all the victims of this senseless act.
In particular with the family and co-workers of Sgt. Helus, a hero in the truest sense of the word.
    God bless you all.

Now it’s personal (beyond my brother officer). A dear friend of my son’s girlfriend was shot while helping others escape. He just died as a result of his injuries. God has a special place in Heaven for these heroes.

Every time I hear of a police officer being killed in the line of duty I remember that it could have been my brother (now retired from Buena Park PD).
This is happening far, far too much lately. Making it worse are the idiot politicians like DiBlasio in New York and that clown who was running for governor in Florida.

My condolences to the families and friends off all of those affected. Far too common it seems.
