Van Slyke went 1-for-9 with a double in four games this season before going on the DL on April 10 with low back irritation. The 29-year-old played in eight games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and Triple-A Oklahoma City during his rehab assignment and went 7-for-31 (.226) with a double, a homer and five RBI.

Puig is hitting .237 with five home runs and 20 RBI in 53 games this season.

At least 15 days on DL followed by 20 day rehab assignment; hopefully enough time for Puig to work on his swing, pitch recognition, and approach

I also hope this DL and rehab stint works to get Puig back on track.
