‘Biggest hit of the year for the Dodgers’

Not much more to add to Dodgers broadcaster Charlie Steiner’s call on this one:

It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Let’s hope that shot put a knife through the struggles the boys had in May!

It was a lot different, of course, on the Rockies’ Broadcast. In fact they even thought for a few seconds that Blackmon might’ve caught the ball. That followed by, “I don’t believe it”, “No, I don’t believe it. Then a lot of silence.

If you have MLB.TV, you have the option to listen to the Dodgers broadcast – if you can tolerate Charlie and Orel for nine-innings (or 18 on Tuesday) 😆

I prefer watching the games on MLB Extra innings because I get better reception and although MLB.TV has been a lot better, it still gives me trouble from time to time. The Dodger home games are mostly shown on MLB Extra Innings.

That was some home run! Of course I went to sleep after Hundley’s double figuring the Rockies would score another run and that the Dodgers would never come back from three runs down. Well, the Rockies did score another run and I was pleasant surprised to see the Dodgers had scored four. I watched the archive of the game when I got home from work. Blackmon came very close to catching that ball, but he didn’t.
