Too soon to decide. Up to now it would be among Kershaw, Kemp, Ethier, AJ Ellis, and Ramirez but I’m withholding my vote until the regular season is over!

Same here. There’s still a lot of baseball to be played.

    Ditto

“There’s still a lot of baseball to be played.”

Actually, Kevin, there is not. That’s almost like saying “it’s still early.”

The MVP should be based on what got the team here, not what happens in the final 23 games, and I have a very difficult believing that you guys don’t have an MVP by now – I’m just saying.

Besides… this poll is FREE! It costs you absolutely nothing to mark the little dot next to your choice and hit the “Vote” button. This doesn’t go to the Baseball Writers Association of America or the MLB… IT’S ALL IN FUN.

For me, it’s between Matt Kemp or Kerton Clayshaw; the latter best known from “Between Two Palm Trees” fame. And with either of them still having a say so during the final 22 games, I choose to wait it out some more.

      “It’s still early.” Nice try, 53!! 🙂

The only name that sticks out for me is Luis Cruz.
Hanley Ramirez is a close second. He’s done a good job since joining the team but Cruz has been doing it longer.

A very valid point, OBF. I actually struggled between Cruz and Kershaw but opted for Kershaw simply because the Dodgers would not be where they are today were it not for Kershaw’s 12 wins and 201 K’s.

  6. Scott Harvey says:

    What, no Juan Uribe?

  7. CRANBROOK MIKE says:

Very tough decision! I chose Hairston. This dude was very impressive most of the season making clutch plays defensively. And had some timely hits.

  8. Bluenose Dodger says:

I pick AJ Ellis. Clayton would be next. AJ hasn’t been on the DL, has had some clutch hits, more power than expected, played good defense, handles pitchers well, is a team leader, throws out a good percentage of runners. He is like the glue that holds a club together. You know, the little guys, like Cruz or Hairston that play with heart.

  9. rai909 says:

id pick and did choose Mark Ellis just because he has been consistently outperforming any dodger they try putting in either 1,2 spot in the lineup.
