Congratulations also to Larry Dolan, Mike Chernoff, Terry Francona and the entire Cleveland Indians organization for providing baseball fans with what was arguably one of the most enjoyable World Series of all time.
As the great Vin Scully might say: “In a century that has been so improbable the impossible has happened”
Although Dodger fans are disappointed at the way that their team’s season ended, there is some solace in knowing that the road to the 2016 World Series came through Los Angeles.
Oh… in case you were wondering, only 105 days until Dodgers pitchers and catchers report for spring training.

Congrats to the Cubs and the Indians for almost doing the impossible in Game 4.

Yes Congratulations to all concerned for the Cubs finally breaking the curse after 108 years. That was some final game. Both teams really forth to the bidder end.
I can’t express how happy I am that it’s over and we won’t have to put up with it anymore. No more “lovable losers”.
Congratulations to the Cubbies and to the Indians for making it such a great World Series.
Regarding the World Series in general: I ran across this today while doing some research. We all know the Dodgers’ last World Championship was in 1988. To take it farther, the A’s went to 3 consecutive WS (1988-1990), winning in ’89. The Reds won in ’90. None of those 3 teams have been back since. The only participant in any of those 3 WS who didn’t win one was the Giants (1989), who’ve been 3-1 in WS play since.
I’m not calling it a curse but…………….
