Roberts also said on Friday that Dodgers top right-handed pitching prospect Jose De Leon will not be going to Oklahoma City.

“I don’t see De Leon to start there and I think that there’s a little bit of innings limit, so I don’t know where he’s going to start,” said Roberts of De Leon. “There might even be thoughts of kind of holding him back just a little bit just to kind of start him a little bit later on the season. I don’t know exactly.”

Roberts was quick to add that the 23-year-old Isabel, Puerto Rica native is not hurt.

There will undoubtedly be additional tweets (etc.) throughout the day on additional minor league assignments.

Stay tuned…

Can’t wait for the minor league rosters to take shape. Looking forward to watching Matt with the Loons and Cody with the Drillers. Tulsa with Central Time not too bad.
