Former Dodger and World Series Champion Jerry Reuss will be on hand this weekend to sign copies of his hilarious new book ‘Bring In the Right-Hander! – My Twenty-two Years in the Major Leagues’
In addition to sharing his childhood memories and several of his most emotional moments during his colorful 22-year MLB career with readers, Reuss also shares many of his zaniest pranks, most of which inevitably led him to having to cough up money in fines – some deserved and some not. Many of Jerry’s best pranks occurred during his nine seasons with the Dodgers and usually included teammates and fellow pranksters Ken Brett, Jay Johnstone, Steve Yeager and Rick Monday, and almost all of them involved Dodgers Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda. ThinkBlueLA reviewed Reuss’s new book back on March 24.
On Saturday, April 12, Reuss will be signing at Brent’s Deli located at 19565 Parthenia Street in Northridge, CA – (818-886-5679) from 11:30 AM to 2 PM, and on Sunday, April 13 at Manuel’s Original El Tepeyac Café located at 13131 Crossroads Parkway South in City of Industry – (562-695-2277) from 1 to 3 PM. Books will be available for purchase at both locations.
