When we launched ThinkBlueLA.com more than a decade ago, first as an interactive fan forum and eventually into a full-blown website, we, more specifically, Scott Harvey, the technical brains behind our operation, created it so that every article written by our passionate staff of writers would not only post directly onto this website, but would also post on Twitter, from where our loyal readers and followers could one-click their way directly to each individual article.
And then four weeks ago, on October 27, 2022, Elon Musk, the single richest man in the entire world who owns Tesla, Inc. and SpaceX (among many other companies), purchased Twitter for $44 billion dollars … that’s billion with a ‘B’.
Over the course of those four weeks, the single richest man in the world has taken Twitter, the single greatest social media platform in the world, to the brink of going completely out of business – literally.
Without going into the details of what will forever be remembered as the single greatest business blunder in the history of mankind (details of which can be easily found via Google), we here at ThinkBlueLA have every intention to continue to bring you the very latest news and information about our beloved Los Angeles Dodgers here on our website. And even though a great percentage of the information that we use in our articles comes (came) directly from the many media outlets who use (used) Twitter to disseminate their breaking Dodgers and MLB news and information, we will continue to link our articles to this website via Twitter … for as long as it remains up and running.
Apparently Elon Musk has never heard the age-old expression: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
Shame on you Elon Musk. Shame on you.
…and stay the heck away from Major League Baseball!
