Not much to say about this one except ouch.
With the loss, the Dodgers now have a precarious half-game lead over the (now) second-place San Francisco Giants, who have won six straight.
Ouch.

I loathe bullpen games on so many levels.
Don’t know what the Dodgers exact record is on bullpen games this season, but it can’t be good.
I would guess we are right around .500 in bullpen games. I think their big mistake was thinking Sauer could go multiple innings. He is a one inning middle reliever. Not an innings eater.
