This from MLB Trade Rumors during Sunday’s Super Bowl game:
“The Dodgers and utility man Enrique Hernandez are in agreement on a deal, according to a report from Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. The deal is pending a physical, and Hernandez himself announced the news on social media. According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, it’s a one-year big league deal for the veteran. Financial terms have not yet been disclosed. The Dodgers have a full 40-man roster but will be able to begin utilizing the 60-day injured list when pitchers and catchers officially report to camp for the club on Tuesday, meaning they can simply place an injured player such as Gavin Stone or River Ryan on the 60-day IL to open a roster spot rather than designating a player for assignment.”
