Remember his name, Dodgers fans – it’s Reynaldo Yean. He is a 20-year-old right-handed relief pitcher from Sabana Grande de Boya in the Dominican Republic who signed a Minor League free agent contract with the Dodgers on July 5, 2021.
Why so, you ask?
I’ll give you 104 reasons, as in a 104-mph fastball.
On Wednesday afternoon, the 6′-4″ extremely hard-throwing right-hander hit 104 with his fastball in the Dodgers Single-A affiliate Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 5-2 win over the Angels Single-A affiliate Inland Empire 66ers at LoanMart Field, home of the Quakes.

Although only 20 years old and currently at the Low Single-A level, my money is on Yean with his 104-mph fastball making his MLB debut with the Dodgers sooner rather than later.
