Prior to Wednesday’s 2022 regular season finale against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was asked by MLB Network’s Alanna Rizzo if he had decided who his starting pitcher would be for Game-1 of the National League Division Series against the yet-to-be-determined NL Wild Card winner at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, October 11.
“We haven’t. We’re gonna keep talking through that,” Roberts told the popular former SportsNet LA reporter. “I think it’s fair to say that it’s either going to be Julio (Urías) or Clayton (Kershaw) Game-1, Game-2, and then we have the off-day, and then we’ll figure out Game-3, Game-4, but certainly Tyler (Anderson) and Tony Gonsolin three and four. We’ll figure that out, too.”
The answer to this burning question will probably be answered during the Dodgers workout day at Dodger Stadium on Friday afternoon, when Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman and Roberts are scheduled to meet with the media.
Then again, maybe it won’t, as the NL Wild Card Games aren’t scheduled to begin until 11:07 a.m. and 5:07 p.m. PDT respectively on Friday.
Who will it be?
Stay tuned…
