After missing four games for what was described as ‘neck issues,’ Dodgers utility infielder/outfielder Gavin Lux is back in the Dodgers lineup for Sunday’s game against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park as the Dodgers second baseman.
Although it is uncertain exactly how Lux suffered the ‘neck issues,’ Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters several times that it would not be an IL thing, and it was not.
Prior to his ‘neck issues,’ the 24-year-old Kenosha, WI native and Dodgers first-round draft pick in 2016 out of Indian Trail High School in Kenosha was slashing a very good .297 / .373 / .436 / .812 with six home runs, 39 RBIs, and an MLB-leading seven triples.
Needless to say, it will be good to have Lux’s bat back in the Dodgers lineup.
