by Ron Cervenka Although there has been no official word from the Dodgers yet, it was being widely reported on social media that 28-year-old Dodgers All-Star right-hander Walker Buehler underwent a second Tommy John surgery on Tuesday.
This from MLB.com Dodgers beat writer Juan Toribio on Twitter:
Again, there has been no official word yet from the Dodgers, but as Toribio notes, his source is rather reliable.

Note: A subsequent Instagram post from Buehler indicated that the surgery took place on Tuesday.

@Dodgers That stinks. I hate when injuries mess up careers. First Kershaw & now Buehler, and yet the Dodgers appear to have no shortage of starting pitching.
Well that sucks. Good luck with your rehab Walker. See you in 2024.
Bauer may be available to replace Buehler when/if his suspension is reduced to one year.
