There weren’t many positive takeaways in the Dodgers 10-4 loss to the Angels of Anaheim at Dodger Stadium on Monday night, but there was one. Even though 26-year-old Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger went 0-for-3 on the night, he didn’t strikeout.
Yes, that most certainly sounds harsh and cold, but considering the Scottsdale, AZ native and Dodgers fourth-round draft in 2013 out of Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ entered Monday night’s contest having gone 4-for-30 (.133) with 18 strikeouts in the 12 Spring Training games in which he had appeared to that point, it was definitely a step in the right direction. In fact, two of the former NL MVP and two-time All-Star’s outs were sharply hit fly balls to right and center fields, respectively.
With Tuesday night’s game against the Angels at Dodger Stadium being the Dodgers final game of Spring Training 2022 (and the final game where stats do not count), is Belli finally all better?
Stay tuned…

@Dodgers His shoulder might be, but his head still seems like a mess.
Nope. Still a work in progress which is encouraging, but they are still trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
@Dodgers Not quite yet!
