An extraordinary collaboration came to light on May 15, 2021. Baseballism, a beloved baseball fan online and brick-and-mortar store, joined forces with former seven-time Emmy Award-Winning SportsNet LA sideline reporter Alanna Rizzo and her popular Guidry’s Guardian Foundation.
In January, Rizzo posted on Twitter that she was leaving the Dodgers and SportsNet LA to put her personal life above her professional life. It appears that she is doing just that. As noted, Rizzo is the founder and CEO of Guidry’s Guardian Foundation, an online charity to raise awareness of, rescue, and find new homes for abandoned and abused dogs.
On May 7, 2021, Baseballism posted a preview of the ‘Bow Wow’ collection on their website, which features caps and tees for men and women featuring four different breeds of dogs. Baseballism’s blog also featured a short video that featured Alanna Rizzo, CEO of Guidry’s Guardian Foundation as the narrator. Rizzo read her foundation’s mission during the short video while pictures of happy families with their newly rescued dogs were highlighted. Ten percent of all proceeds of the ‘Bow Wow’ collection go to Guidry’s Guardian Foundation to help get more dogs off of the streets and out of high-kill shelters.

When Alanna Rizzo is not working on raising awareness of her Foundation, she can be found on MLB Network’s High Heat with Christopher ‘Mad Dog’ Russo.
