Moving From COVID-19 Red to Orange Tier Allows Dodger Stadium Capacity to Increase to 33%

Late Tuesday morning, news broke that Los Angeles County would be moving from the COVID-19 red tier into the less-restrictive orange tier this week, allowing for more business to reopen and increased capacities at sporting venues – including Dodger Stadium.

Under the red tier, the maximum capacity at Dodger Stadium would have been roughly 11,200 fans. Moving into the orange tier increases this number to approximately 18,500 fans; not ideal, but certainly a significant improvement.

Again, not ideal, but definitely a step in the right direction.

  1. @Dodgers I am grateful but at the same time this is so pathetically laughable…. #FollowTheScienceTheySaid

  2. @Dodgers April 9th is my birthday. I need to be in the stadium that day. https://t.co/ndvF1en3GX
