With each passing day, the chances of 36-year-old third baseman Justin Turner returning to the Dodgers in 2021 are rapidly declining. In fact, there is an excellent chance that ship has already sailed … right around the time he and his agent Greg Genske of VaynerBaseball Agency were demanding a four-year deal; this after Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman made it abundantly clear that the Dodgers would not go beyond two years, perhaps with a team option for a third year (and performance bonuses), which Turner and his agent flat out rejected.
As a result, and with Dodgers pitchers and catchers set to report for Spring Training 2021 in 10 days, Turner is still without a job.
Truth be told, if the extremely popular Long Beach, CA native and seventh-round draft pick in 2006 by the Cincinnati Reds out of UCLA were to reconsider Friedman’s original offer (~), there is still a (reasonably) good chance that the Dodgers’ top decision-maker would bring the beloved bearded third baseman back in a heartbeat.
…unless, of course, that ship has already sailed.

Bon voyage JT!
If that ship has sailed
Plan B
price to yanks,Phils,Mets
For prospects that are flipped to the reds with Ruiz and Rios for Suarez.
that would be a very nice Plan B.
Turner was very good for the Dodgers but if he is insisting on a four year deal I say good luck with your new team.
I don’t think the Mets gonna do anything to help us right about now.
If that ship had already sailed, Turner would have signed somewhere by now. Maybe Friedman has just been busy with other deals and the two sides ate in agreement to hash this out afterwards?

I have to believe that Tirner will give the Dodgers the final call towards his employment.
Or, the Dodgers and Turner have a handshake deal in place that will be announced when team clears roster spots and payroll for him and Bauer
