Dodgers Begin Crucial Six-Game Interleague Homestand

The first-place Dodgers, who have the best record in the National League, begin a six-game interleague homestand on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium that will feature three games against the AL East fourth-place Toronto Blue Jays (52-75) and an extremely crucial three-game weekend series against the AL East first-place New York Yankees, which could have a very significant impact on the 2019 World Series.

Should both the Dodgers and Yankees make it to the annual Fall Classic, the winners of this series will earn home-field advantage in October.

The Blue Jays will be making their first visit back to Dodger Stadium since 2007 and the Yankees since 2013.

The weekend series against the Yankees will also mark Major League Baseball’s annual Players Weekend, where players can showcase their passions, backgrounds, and interests on uniforms and equipment. Player nicknames will be featured on the backs of their specially designed monochromatic all-black and all-white uniforms, which will allow for custom accessories to stand out more than ever before.

Here is a complete rundown of the six-game homestand and scheduled promotions:
