Dodger great Steve Garvey will once again host his popular King’s Hawaiian ‘Grillin With Garv’ series on Friday evening prior to the three-game series opener with the San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium, with grilling time set for 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the King’s Hawaiian Grill located in the Left Field Plaza at Dodger Stadium, with the Garv helping to grill up samples of delicious BBQ specialty items, as well as provide Dodger fans with tips on how to take their summer grill-outs to the next level. Garvey will also be taking photos and signing autographs for fans at the event leading up to the 7:10 p.m. first pitch.
This is the sixth in a series of events with Garvey and King’s Hawaiian. Garvey has also hosted a “Way We Were” series, where he talks with other baseball legends before a game outside the King’s Hawaiian Grill.
The King’s Hawaiian Grill has been the most popular pre-game stop for Dodger fans during each homestand this season. The Grill features a premium barbecue menu with the irresistible King’s Hawaiian products that Angelinos and visitors around the country know and love. Among the many delicious items served at the Grill are Pulled Pork Sliders made with King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, Smoked Pork Nachos, Big Island Lava Wings and the Hawaiian BBQ Dodger Dog – made with a King’s Hawaiian Hot Dog bun, pulled pork and King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Pineapple BBQ sauce.
