They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. If this is true, here’s 6,000 words to describe the Dodgers 8-4 win over the Padres on Friday night at Petco Park:
A solo home run by Carl Crawford in the first inning…
A solo home run by Scott Schebler in the second inning…
An RBI fielders choice by Corey Seager in the fifth inning…
A two-run home run by Justin Ruggiano in the sixth inning…
A two-run home run by Adrian Gonzalez in the sixth inning…
And a solo home run by Chase Utley in the sixth inning.

As for the Padres, all four of their runs came on home runs as well – a two run shot by former Dodger Matt Kemp in the first inning; a solo home runs by Jedd Gyorko in the third inning; and a solo home run by Brett Wallace in the eighth.
There you have it – 6,000 words.
Let’s hope they didn’t waste any of that offense they may need next month. Just kidding. ha ha.
No you’re not. ha ha.
