The Dodgers have announced that they will open a Kosher food stand beginning this home stand that will offer three types of Kosher hot dogs.
The stand, located at the grill adjacent to Tommy Lasorda’s Trattoria in the right field plaza, will offer a Kosher Dog and a Jalapeno Kosher Dog for $9 each and a Kosher Italian Sausage for $10. The stand will be open for all Dodgers home games except Fridays and Saturdays and Jewish holidays. Additional food items will be added in the future.
The Dodgers will also celebrate their 16th annual Jewish Community Night on Sunday, August 30, when they play host to the Chicago Cubs at 5:08 pm. A special ticket package will be offered which will include a voucher for a Dodgers-in-Hebrew T-shirt and a ticket to the game in the Reserve MVP or Preferred Reserve section. A second Kosher food stand will be available in the left field reserve section. Additionally, the first 40,000 fans in attendance will also receive Dodger headphones.
A limited number of tickets for Jewish Community Night are still available and can be purchased at www.dodgers.com/jewish or anyone interested in groups of 20 or more should call 323-224-2642. In order to receive the commemorative T-shirt, fans must purchase the ticket package through the website and are available while supplies last.
