The Dodgers have announced that beginning on Wednesday, October 31, Dodgers Spanish-language broadcaster Jorge Jarrín will host a weekly one-hour radio show called “Dodger Talk – Off-Season Edition” on AM 570 FOX Sports LA. The English-only show will air on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m (PT).
The show will feature the latest Dodgers news and will include interviews with Dodgers players, coaches and front office personnel. The inaugural “Dodger Talk – Off-Season Edition” will feature an interview with recently acquired All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.
Jarrín, son of Hall of Fame broadcaster Jaime Jarrín, recently completed his first season as the Dodgers play-by-play announcer for Prime Ticket’s Spanish-language TV broadcast. More than 50 games were available to Dodger fans in Spanish through Prime Ticket. Jarrín, a seasoned broadcaster who served as KABC Talk Radio’s “Captain Jorge” traffic reporter from 1985 to 2011, joined Dodgers coach Manny Mota for all games televised in Spanish.
All 2013 Dodger games can be heard on AM 570 Fox Sports LA, the official flagship station of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
